Long time no blog :( It is hard out here in Colorado to get the internet. It has been a while since we have posted.
WE ARE MARRIED! It was a beautiful day on January 24, 2009. We were expecting rain, but God stopped it just for the ceremony. All the pictures are absolutely beautiful (check them out at envisionvideo.exposuremanager.com)and we hope that everyone who was there enjoyed themselves as well (Thank you so much for coming). Our honeymoon was really awesome. We went to this place called Apples. It is a bed & breakfast in Big Bear, CA... We defenitely recommend going there. The breakfast was absolutely amazing because it was home cookin'. One day we went snowboarding at Snow Summit ski resort and both of us hadn't been in quite a long time, but it was just like riding a bike. We had alot of fun with eachother and we still are having alot of fun with eachother. It is only about a couple weeks into our marriage, but I believe we are going to be happy with eachother forever because we are best friends and we find our satisfaction in Jesus Christ. Marriage is a huge blessing. We have been in Colorado for about a week, but totally feel like we have been here for months. Wess is filling the position of youth pastor at the church plant in Hotchkiss, CO and I am considered a registrar for the Bible college that is out here in Somerset, CO. We are also living on the campus and it has been trying at times, but a blessing when we remember God's faithfulness. Today we went down to Hotchkiss for church which is about 30 minutes from Somerset and we were so blessed by the families that attend the church. It is a small congregation, but I think that God would not have it any other way. He wants these specific people to be reached and to grow intimately with Him. Wess taught at the youth service that had two girls. It was the best study that we have had in long time. These girls are thirsting for the Word and desire to live for him in every aspect. Living out here has made us both realize how important it is to have Jesus. He is all we can depend upon because we don't have alot of what we had before... stuff that we were able to depend upon. All that stuff has passed away, but Jesus will never pass away. Having Him is far better than having the best of best house, or the most expensive car. We are gradually realizing what it means to live for Him and it is exciting. We will extend this blog possibly tomorrow - please keep in touch with us :) write us emails... we really enjoy hearing from everyone.
